Our business pollutes the external environment to a very minor extent, and is not regulated by concessions or injunctions.

As a member of Grønt Punkt, we have environmental stations for sorting our own materials at source and for recycling material shavings. For the transport of our goods, we make use of joint loading as far as possible to ensure our transport resources are used optimally. All wood, paper and plastic are sent for recycling, and electrical waste is sent to Elretur.

Astrup has a green IT policy. Our photocopiers are Energy-Star marked, and we have established a returns arrangement for used toner cartridges. We are continually working to reduce energy consumptions and constantly monitor our total energy usage. Our product catalogues carry the Swan ecolabel and are produced using paper from sustainable sources (FSC marked). We also used ecolabelled copy paper.

We strive to use train as transportation if it`s possible.
