PETG is a thermoplastic amorphous polyester that is mainly supplied in a transparent version. The material boasts good transparency, high impact strength and is easy to hot form. Its processing properties are good, particularly hot forming, which requires a relatively low temperature and delivers a high forming speed. Sheets can also be cold cracked. PETG is available as films and sheets.
