Most of the lead is used for the production of batteries. Lead (Pb) was previously also an important additive in petrol. Common applications for lead sheets today including screening of radioactive radiation (x-rays) as well as pipe fittings/roof coverings.

Lead sheets are supplied non tin-coated, tin-coated or painted on two sides. The latter two can be used for exterior applications.
